Lids Open Day & Night ( Part II ) inside Merchant Square

During the Merchant City Festival our next event will be an extended 'Lids Open Day & Night'. After a day in the Recital Room, and a wee break, we will be on stage with a grand piano inside Merchant Square from 7pm to 9.30pm with a performance orientated event in collaboration with 'Glasgow Piano Days'. With performances from 8.30pm onwards and Ugnius Pauliukonis closing the evening with a 25min set. The piano will be on stage to play from 7pm. There will be an audience in the bars and restaurants around the square, so you will need to be confident!

This is a very different to our usual Lids Open Day format, when there is no pressure of performing for an audience.
'Glasgow Piano Days' is a new format for us where the audience enjoying a series of performances is at the centre of the event.

During the day we will be in the Recital Room, City Halls, from 11am to 5pm for Part I of this full day of piano activity.
