We are excited to be able to announce the Glasgow branch anatomy and dissection day. Ian Reilly joins us in bringing his steroid injection course to Scotland followed by a day in the Clinical Anatomy Skills Centre at the University of Glasgow for a day focused on foot/ankle anatomy and injection techniques.
The interactive cadaver-based course allows delegates to inject dye and dissect the associated structures to visualise the accuracy of their injection and gain a better understanding of the anatomy of the lower limb.
Join us for a packed course that will appeal to those working in independent practice or NHS settings. The focus is on ensuring delegates leave with enhanced clinical tools and knowledge that they can implement in their daily practice, especially for those using advanced injection techniques.
The course will have the following learning outcomes:
* Improved knowledge of the anatomy of the foot and lower limb and the relative positioning of structures within the lower limb.
* Experience with injection techniques in anatomically varied specimens.
* Enhanced confidence in needle placement in injection therapy and local anesthetic for improved patient outcomes.
09:00 - 10:00 - Welcome and introduction
10:00 - 11:00 - Injection techniques demonstration
11:00 - 13:00 - Injection practical and dissection
13:00 - 14:00 - Lunch
14:00 - 16:00 - Further dissection.
There are only 30 places so book early to avoid disappointment.
