Join us for a heartfelt moment of recognition as we unveil a new community monument dedicated to the many volunteers who have served the Port Morien Fire Department since its founding in 1944.

This new memorial will:

→ Commemorate the 32 founding members of the department
→ Honour 27 individuals who have served for 25+ years or were elected honorary members for exemplary service
→ Celebrate 80 years of community protection, support, and pride

The Port Morien Fire Department has been a cornerstone of our community, recently designated as an official comfort center by the CBRM and Province of Nova Scotia thanks to years of hard work and upgrades.

Please join us as we honour the legacy, courage, and dedication of those who helped shape and protect Port Morien.
