Join us for the first ever Smash ‘Sunday Jazz’ Session!

A laid-back family-friendly environment for Jazz lovers. Expect curated tracks and live performances from artists who explore and explain the history and musical conventions of jazz genres in simple terms.

We hope that this first gathering encourages enthusiasts and musicians of other genres to join our Jazz education sessions and take to the stage in future Sunday sessions - there’s scope to perform with and be mentored by some very special guests should this take off.

Content for episode one:
- Listening Party - A pre history of blues and Jazz - readings from ‘The History of Jazz’ by Ted Gioia with audio/video references.
- Followed by live Early Blues, Ragtime and Ne Orleans Jazz performances.
