Wildlife Soft Sculpture Workshop (1of 2)

Calling all kaitiaki, waste warriors, conservationists! Come and make giant soft sculptures of some of our local wildlife critters in this kids holiday workshop.
We will learn a bit about our region's amazing creatures, then design and make them in larger-than-life scale to become an educational exhibition in the window at 38 Peel Street.
A collaboration between TEC and Hospice, funded by GDC and Trust Tairāwhiti, we’ll be using waste and 2nd hand fabrics from Hospice. Kids will be working in small teams with experienced sewing machinists to make biggie sized fantastical animals. It will be a fun day of making!
