Betel Home Foundation at Íslendingadagurinn

Velkomin to Gimli! We will be set up in front of Betel Personal Care Home at 96 1st Avenue on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4PM both days. We hope that you will be able to drop in and say Hi! Please look for the white pop up tent, and royal blue banner. We will be set up close to the sidewalk on 1st Avenue.

Our 50/50 Raffle pot is currently at $4315 and the draw date is August 15th. Tickets will be available for payment by cash, debit or credit.

This is an important fundraiser to help support improvements to the Tub Rooms at both Betel Personal Care Homes in Gimli and in Selkirk. Project costs will be well over $200,000 and include the purchase and installation of new tubs, along with renovation of the tub rooms to reflect a less institutional and more home-like environment for the residents' bathing experience. Research has shown that providing bathing care in a less institutional and more comfortable environment helps to reduce reactive behaviours in some residents and offers a more enjoyable, private experience for others.
