In Moving with Grief, we explore how to be in relationship with grief — listening, moving, breathing, and softening into its wisdom.
Each week we gather to explore our grief through different movement practices and sharing within our intimate and confidential circle.
This 5-week series is open to anyone who is experiencing any kind of loss that is impacting their life.
Death, relationships, health diagnoses, major life changes, environmental grief.

About the facilitator
Melissa Lyons is a trauma informed yoga therapist and group facilitator. She has worked on the faculty of Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy, the oldest and most established school of its kind in North America, and as a teacher of teachers at Yoga by The Sea. She has been holding sacred space for circles for over a decade, offering stress reduction programs and teaching mindfulness practices.
She is also a griever who has made peace with the process and feels compelled to share her processes with our community.
