Accomplished singer-songwriter and Juno award winning Cara Luft is that rare artist steeped in folk and traditional roots music, yet willing to stretch the boundaries and fearlessly blend genres and styles. A founding member of Winnipeg's folk super-group, the Wailin' Jennys, she has a solid reputation as one of Canada's finest live performers. It is indeed an honour to host Cara at Gibson's Heritage Playhouse, along with her good friend Shari Ulrich and members of The Luckies in an incredible double header event evening of folk, roots, and rock.

For over four decades, accomplished singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Shari Ulrich has been winning hearts across North America with her voice, songs and on-stage charisma. A two-time JUNO-winner among other awards, she has recorded 25 albums as a solo artist and with the legendary Pied Pumkin, The Hometown Band, UHF, BTU and The High Bar Gang. Now touring with The Luckies, Shari and collaborators Hilary and Jeanne bring a wonderful new sound to excite Heritage Playhouse audience goers.
