Ninth Annual Longest Day Walk

SpiriTrust Lutheran®, The Village at Gettysburg cordially invites our residents, family members, team members and other friends to join us on the longest day of the year as we honor loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease and those who care for them. Please show your support by walking all or any portion of the Village’s three quarter mile Hope Trail anytime between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Our goal of having at least one person walking the trail at all times represents the non-stop care provided to those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Participation is easy. Just register the day of the event at the table under the big tree on the walking trail in front of the main building.

Donations are not necessary to participate, but will be graciously accepted at the registration table or by the receptionist in the main building. Please make checks payable to the Alzheimer’s Association. If you would like to make a donation online, please contact Jess Sheahan, director of life enrichment, at 717.334.6204, ext. 40307.

Please bring your own water bottle, if needed. We look forward to you joining us as we come together to support our families and friends during their journey.
