Family Day at Spangler Farm

Join us during the Memorial Day holiday weekend at the George Spangler Farm & Field Hospital—the best preserved field hospital from the Battle of Gettysburg. Kick off your family's summer with a free day of history and adventure when you explore the meticulously restored historic site.

Family Day features family-friendly programming and activities—including living history, Civil War encampments, Civil War medicine, Spangler family experiences, historic barn preservation presentations and local favorite Mr. G's Ice Cream.

Guests can drive directly to the property for this event where limited on-site parking will be available.
