Travis will be back in the shop for another ridiculously enjoyable "around the world" wine class! If you haven't been to one yet, they are A BLAST! And we always learn a ton.
This month we're talking about Zinfandel - a wine that California claims all to itself. Or so you thought! You might be surprised to learn that Zinfandel has family in Italy and Croatia. And like most big families, there's a little bit of drama. So come learn about Zinfandel with us! For this class we will taste our way through several expressions and styles from different areas of California, plus those pesky European cousins.
We'll discuss vineyard and production techniques, that mysterious concept of "terroir," and the equally mysterious concept of "old vines."
Tickets are $40/person which includes a guided tasting of 5 wines. Zinfandel-friendly munchies and bottled water included. Advanced reservations are required!
Limited seats available. As always, we'll have additional bottles from the tasting for sale that evening at 10% off the normal retail price.
