In 2000 Red Car produced its first vintage, 50 cases of Syrah, in a Los Angeles garage. Now, twenty years and many fascinating stories later, they farm five rugged vineyards perched high above the Pacific Ocean in Sonoma County. Perhaps not ironically, when it was time to build a winery, they selected an abandoned tractor dealership!
Even though their wines have been featured on the cover of Wine Spectator, this is the first time they've been made available in Kentucky - which might just be why you've never heard of them!
So we're thrilled to welcome Brady Moran into the shop on Wednesday, August 20th for an intimate tasting of four of his award-winning wines. Brady's title may be Sales & Marketing Director, but come prepared with all of your best winemaking questions as Brady also makes wine and manages the vineyards for his family's winery in the nearby Knight's Valley.
Tickets are $40 per person and include a guided tasting of 4 wines, charcuterie, and bottled water.
