Their albums Waiting By The Dance Floor (2019) and Cautionary Tales (2022) are no retro pastiche. They’re red-blooded, sweat-soaked love letters to the roots, filtered through frontman Richard Colley’s well-worn record collection and lifelong obsession with the greats. From the howl of Nick Curran to the croon of The Bellfuries, from Hi-Style Records grit to a JD McPherson-style fire, it’s all there, twisted into something uniquely their own. 🪕🎶💔
These cats don’t just play shows, they work the stage like it’s a revival tent. Over the last few years, they’ve headlined sweaty clubs, packed dancefloors, and stormed festivals like Rhythm Riot, Atomic, SummerTyne Americana, Underneath the Stars, and the Great British Rhythm & Blues. Their European debut? A blitzkrieg across Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria and Italy, and the crowds howled for more.
