Evening Drawing Sessions

Come join us for our Evening Drawing sessions at the Gawler Community Gallery!

Whether you're a beginner looking to explore your artistic side or an experienced artist wanting to refine your skills, these sessions are perfect.

They will be held every fortnight on a Tuesday evening at 7pm.

You will practise drawing subjects from observation, ie whatever is in front of you - a totally different (and more elusive) skill to that of drawing from a photograph.

But .. if you want, or need, to draw from a photo - go for it !

You can absolutely do your own thing.

But, importantly, you don't have to be able to draw already .. you can learn to draw (anybody can learn to draw!)

Materials

Please bring your own materials, as materials are not included.

Suggested materials are charcoal, pencils, eraser and paper ideally A2, but A3 is also okay.

If you usually use different materials, that's okay too, please then bring them instead.

The cost is $5 each session, an annual Gawler Community Gallery membership (currently $40 per annum or $22 concession per annum) is required after first two attendances)
