Mercredi Bluegrass au Minotaure

The Gladsome Gentlemen est un groupe de bluegrass progressif formé par quatre des musiciens les plus expérimentés d'Ottawa. Joe Ray McDonald (guitare, voix), Trevor Lubin (mandoline, voix), Dylan Watts (guitare) et Duncan Reitbeock (basse) jouent un mélange de morceaux originaux et traditionnels avec une touche moderne et joyeuse. Ils sont considérés comme le groupe de bluegrass le plus heureux d'Ottawa et, lorsqu'ils sont accompagnés de leurs chansons réfléchies, de leurs instrumentations complexes et de leur virtuosité, ils sont un vrai plaisir à voir en live.

A new evening dedicated to bluegrass music! The Gladsome Gentlemen is a progressive bluegrass band formed by four of Ottawa’s most seasoned pickers. Joe Ray McDonald (guitar, vocals) Trevor Lubin (mandolin, vocals) Dylan Watts (guitar) and Duncan Reitbeock (Bass) play a mixture of original and traditional tunes with a modern gladsome twist. They are considered Ottawa’s happiest bluegrass band and when paired with their thoughtful songwriting, intricate instrumentals and virtuosic picking they are a delight to catch live.
