Heritage Open Day

How many of you have driven past the stone wall surrounding Bensham Grove and never even realised it was a beautiful house that has been a community building, for the people of Gateshead and beyond for over 100 years.
Come along this Saturday. Have a guided tour, check out the original William Morris features. Come and learn about the houses history and how it might have had a direct impact on your life. Check out the stained, painted, cast and fused glass on exhibition. All created by people at Bensham Grove.
We also have delicious cake and scones to have with a cuppa in our beautiful lounge, or, weather permitting in our lovely gardens.
