🎨 Paint the Town – Gateshead - Pints for Participants!

Everyone seems to be been picking up paint and paintbrushes lately, so we’re doing the same, but for a better cause 👏
Paint the Town is a volunteer-led clean-up day run by Friends of Gateshead Town Centre, and we’re inviting locals to help give the High Street a well-deserved glow-up.
With permission from business owners, we’ll be:
🖌 Painting over graffiti
🪟 Freshening up shutters
🌼 Adding some colour to neglected corners
🤝 Bringing back pride in our place
No experience needed, just good energy and old clothes!
We’ll provide paint, brushes, music, and brews.
🎶 Tunes on the go
☕️ Tea breaks + a well-earned pint for volunteers
🧤 Gloves and rollers provided (but bring your own if you’ve got them)
📣 Are you a business or building owner?
Message us by Monday 16th September to give permission for us to paint your shutters or tidy up your frontage.
Let’s brighten up the town, one brushstroke at a time 🎨✨
