CAMRAmble – Gateshead to Felling via Bill Quay Linear Walk

When: Saturday 17th May 2025 @ 12.15 – 6:00pm approx.

Start / Meet: Microbus, 2 High Level Parade, Gateshead, NE8 2AJ

This is very much an urban walk passing some industrial sites along the way.
However there are plenty of nice paths along the south bank of the river Tyne.
Public Transport to start then a gentle walk visiting a selection of pubs serving real ale.
From High Level Bridge using mainly riverside paths to The Fog on the Tyne pub where there will be a lunch stop with snacks & light meals available.
The walk will then continue to Bill Quay visiting two traditional pubs.
There is then an option to leave the walk (should there be inclement weather) by catching a Metro train at Pelaw Station.
The ramble will conclude near Felling Metro Station visiting another two traditional pubs.
