11am Saturday Family Fun Ride!

Want to get out on your bike with your family? Join our ride leader Mark for some relaxed Saturday morning bike rides along the Tyne. We will be cycling short distances along traffic-free routes and aiming for play parks and other kid-friendly destinations, picnics are encouraged! Children riding their own bikes or in child carriers are welcome, and the exact route on the day will be determined by the preference of those present. Mark is a qualified Bikeability trainer with 9 years experience leading group rides and helping children develop their cycling skills.

These rides are planned to run for one year starting on Saturday 12th of October at 11am. Meet at Tyne View Health Hub, off Rose Street, Gateshead NE8 2LS. There is plentiful parking and access to toilets on-site.

Family Fun Bike Rides are one of two brand new group rides starting from Tyne View Health Hub with support from ride leader Mark Gibson. The second is Nightriders, a 7pm Monday evening ride for adults to join after work. For more information about these rides please check our events page.
