Creative Foundations: Sketch Club – Starting 11th June
Have you ever looked at a blank page and felt that awkward pause?
The “where do I even begin?” feeling?
That’s exactly what this class is for.
Creative Foundations: Sketch Club is a brand new adults’ class starting next Wednesday 11th June at The Little Art Den. It’s a back-to-basics space for anyone who wants to build up their drawing skills – slowly, supportively, and without pressure.
Each week, we’ll focus on one core idea:
Week 1: Shape – breaking down objects into simple forms
Week 2: Tone – understanding light, dark and depth
Week 3: Shading – from pencil pressure to texture
Week 4: Perspective – learning how to bring your drawings to life
Whether you’re returning to art after years away, just getting started, or wanting to understand the why behind the techniques, this is your space to explore.
It’s not about producing perfect drawings. It’s about slowing down, learning the basics, and enjoying the process (with good company and plenty of tea).
