Volunteer Workday at Ivanhoe South Nature Preserve

We're gearing up to start capital improvements at Ivanhoe South. Come out and help us tidy up, pulling litter and debris from the preserve's frontage, making it look spectacular for the project's kickoff!

Nature Highlights: Globally rare dune & swale habitat. Abundance of native plants, along with significant wetland/dune community birds like Red-headed Woodpeckers.

What to Bring: Long pants and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle as there is no potable water at this location. We'll supply trash bags, gloves, and other PPE.

Length: 3 hours.

Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather. No rain date.

Amenities: No running water or restrooms.
