A corporate consultant, seasoned entrepreneur, and business advisor, Ms. Williams is passionate about mentoring early-stage entrepreneurs and fostering innovation across diverse industries. A Gary native with proven expertise in strategic planning, lean methodologies, and community-based economic empowerment, Ms. Williams currently serves as Co-founder and Program Director of StartUp Gary Community Development Corporation, a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to build strong neighborhoods where residents thrive as a community, find opportunity, and benefit from sustained growth. Previously, Ms. Williams served as Workshop Facilitator and Executive Coach for the Chicago Urban League’s Entrepreneurship Center, and Adjunct Professor of International Business, Business Law, Entrepreneurial Marketing, and Business Management at Ivy Tech Community College.
