Practicing Our Faith: Connecting with God Through Prayer

June 22 - Teach me to Pray: We will read and discuss the model taught by Jesus in the Lord's Prayer and ways we can use as a model in our own prayer life. Discuss how praying out loud can be easy or uncomfortable.
July 13 - Teach me to Pray: We will read and discuss Jesus' teachings about prayer, as well as other role models we have in our lives. Also, let's talk about what makes is a challenge to pray. Affirm ways we each already pray and ways to "practice" adding prayer in our lives. (Prayer requires practice; not perfection)
August 10 - Teach me to Pray: Prayer is about communicating with God and building connections. Life can be messy and busy, and there are ways we can connect with God. We will also explore some simple journaling techniques.
