There will always be times when you just need a little help, hope, and encouragement. We want to be there for you and support you when you’re facing those difficult times, and we’re firmly committed to helping in any way we can. If you are caring for a loved one with memory issues, whether at the beginning or latter stages, please join us.
As a caregiver, you likely have many responsibilities. It is important to take care of your own well-being and to connect with others that understand.
Our Alzheimer’s caregiver support group is a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia to:
• Develop a support system
• Exchange practical information on caregiving challenges & possible solutions
• Talk through issues and ways of coping
• Share feelings, needs and concerns
• Learn about community resources
• Hear helpful suggestions and gain insight from knowledgeable speakers on how to care for those suffering with memory disorders, and find practical and spiritual support from fellow caregivers.
This group meets every second Sunday from 4-5PM in the Springcreek Chapel.
