Join us for a wild and wonderful “Family Day at the Museum” on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The day kicks off outside at 10:00 a.m. with hands-on fun for all ages with Bubbles on the Green. Other outdoor activities for the kids include a variety of ring toss and corn-hole games. Kids are also encouraged to let their imagination run wild with Sidewalk Chalk Art. The museum doors open at 11:00 a.m. for sign-ins for our main exhibit hall event. At 11:30 a.m., the Cold-Blooded Critters 4-H Herpetology Club will start their presentation where you’ll learn fascinating facts about reptiles and amphibians. Please note guests will need to complete a waiver and receive a wristband before entering the main hall. You may print, complete and bring with you the adult/minor waivers to this event at www.historicnv.org. Look for the DCHS Family Day notice and click on the “Risk Form” icon to print out the form. Forms are also available at the event.
