Get ready for the most explosive and hilarious event of the year—Gardner’s Oktoberfest Chair Luge Race is back for the 16th time! Join us on Saturday, September 27th at 2:00 PM for a downhill spectacle you will remember forever. Whether you’re in it for the fame, the thrill, or the $200 in cash for the race winners, $100 for best costume (all in $1 bills!), this is the ultimate test of creativity, bravery, and just a little bit of insanity. 🏁
Here’s how it works: Find a chair, add at least 3 wheels, add brakes and steering, don a helmet, and get ready to race downhill from Moon Hill Brewing and Gardner Ale House towards Beauregard Liquors. Each luge will be inspected for safety, which means brakes, stearing and helmet. Expect some pretty wild contraptions, outrageous costumes, and maybe a few bumps along the way. Gardner’s best and brightest (they think so anyways) will be competing for glory in this one-of-a-kind, downhill free-for-all.
Event Highlights:
Race Start: 2:00 PM sharp!
