"Ask the Expert - Barbara: Fun Beginning Painting Techniques"

"Ask the Expert" is a monthly event held every third Friday throughout 2025. Each session features knowledgeable guests in area such as sewing, scrapbooking, cross-stitching, and more.

This month, the ReUse Market is proud to highlight a returning special guest: Barbara - a longtime volunteer and expert in fun beginning painting techniques - adding dimension - from flat to WOW!

Barbara is a seasoned artist and longtime volunteer known for turning simple materials into striking works of art. With more that 60 years of experience, Barbara brings energy, insight, and a love of experimentation to everything she creates.

In this session, Barbara will demonstrate fun and approachable painting techniques designed for beginners, with a special focus on how to add dimension to your work - transforming your art from flat to fabulous using texture, color layering, and creative tools.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to bring more depth to your painting projects, this is a great opportunity to learn, explore, and be inspired. Bring your current project or start something new. Ask questions, try techniques, and connect with fellow creatives. All are welcome!
