Athenry CycleFest 2025 / Bike Week

Are you ready for a wheelie good time!....because Athenry CycleFest is back to kick off #BikeWeek with a bang! 💚🚴🎉

Where has the time gone...this is the 5th year of the Athenry CycleFest and the 10th year of the Athenry Pedal Parade - so there will be cake!

Whether you’re a pedal pro or just love a good spin, join us at Athenry Town Park on Saturday, May 10th at 1pm for a FREE afternoon packed with cycling thrills, fun, and fantastic prizes.

Free face painting, free bike goodies, vintage bikes, a Samba Céile, cargo bike Q+A, slow bike race, Gliondar stiltwalkers and more....

...Bubbles and face painting for the little wheelers, plus a safe Wee Wheelers loop where kids can zoom around on balance bikes and trikes.

....Dust off that old bike hiding in your shed! Our expert mechanic will be on hand to give it a free Bike to Basics health check and get you road-ready.

At 3pm, join the grand ATHENRY PEDAL PARADE starting from the Community Park. Cruise through the charming streets of our historic town and compete for prizes for the best-dressed bikes and riders.

No time to decorate your ride? No worries! Swing by our Glam Your Bike station and get your bike prepped for the parade.

Whether you’re local or coming from afar, a warm welcome awaits you at Athenry CycleFest.
