State of Healthcare & Wellness Luncheon

The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Second Annual State of Healthcare and Wellness Luncheon on Thursday, June 12, at the Galveston Island Convention Center, located at 5600 Seawall Blvd.

The event begins with a Vendor Expo from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon and expert panel discussion from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

This year’s panel will feature top leaders from the region’s healthcare institutions:

• Elitecare Emergency Hospital
• Hospitality Health ER
• Memorial Hermann
• Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital
• Shriners Children’s Texas
• University of Texas Medical Branch

The panel will address key issues affecting healthcare today, including the integration of technology in patient care, workforce development and shortages, healthcare disparities, and the future of wellness initiatives in our region.

The luncheon is presented by Shriners Children's Texas, UTMB Health and the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce.
