You will be led on a tour through this majestic home and told of all the crazy history and hauntings with this one. The home still contains the furniture and belongings of the Browns, essentially creating a time capsule of their lifetime. Bishop Brown was known to notoriously ruffle some feathers as he definitely lived to the beat of his own drum. He authored the book Communism & Christianism in 1918. In 1924, Brown was the first person in the United States to be convicted of Heresy. He was tried by the Episcopal Church (1924) and deposed from the House of Bishops in 1925 for his progressive views on Christianity and the Church.
After his conviction, Bishop Brown was re-instated as a “Wandering Bishop” in the Old Roman Catholic Church and was able to call himself a Bishop for the remainder of his life. He passed away in bed bedroom on Halloween morning 1937.
Previous investigations have yielded hair-raising experiences, audible voices, equipment dying, footsteps, shadow figures, etc.
