Philip Bergman's Galena Bach Crawl

Philip Bergman’s Galena Bach Crawl is a musical event that will take place on Sunday, July 13 from 1 to 7 PM.

The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra’s principal cellist, Philip Bergman, will play all six Suites for solo cello by J.S. Bach, one an hour, on the hour, each in a different venue in Galena. Attendees should feel free to join for one location, a few, or all six.

The settings will be informal and attendance is free, though donations will be accepted. The Schedule for the day is as follows:


1 PM: Suite I at Big Bill's Sandwich Shop and Coffee Bar

2 PM: Suite II at Editrix Row

3 PM: Suite III at Enchanted Herb Shop

4 PM: Suite IV at Galena Cellars Winery

5 PM: Suite V at Blaum Bros. Public House

6 PM: Suite VI at Galena Center for the Arts


Each Suite is between 18 and 30 minutes. There will be limited seating at some venues.
