The Central Ohio Kayak Fishing League is holding the 3rd event of the 2025 season Wednesday evening event July 9th at the Alum Creek Reservoir Marina boat ramp (See map).
We will meet up at 5:00pm with the event starting promptly at 5:30pm. The event end time and event codes will be announced at the meet up.
If you intend to participate in the event a $25 cash payment is due prior to the event.
Only cash payments are acceptable.
All fish pictures must be uploaded to the Facebook event page (Preferred), or IM, Emailed or Texted to the tournament director before the stated end of the event. No pictures will be accepted afterwards.
You must show up at the meet-up spot no later than the stated end of the event if you have pictures and wish them to count to your limit. If no fish pics an IM or Text to the TD stating your done and off the water is greatly appreciated.
As with all Kayak events you are free to launch from any publicly accessible areas of the designated body of water for that event after the initial meet up.
If you have yet to or are considering participating in the event, you will need the following: A kayak, PFD, fishing rod(s), lures, a qualified measuring device (Hawg Trough or Ketch Board), an Ohio 2025 fishing licenses and cash for your entry fee.
You’re welcome to just come out to fish, see how it works and maybe pick up a pointer or two without competing in the event.
We highly encourage any first-time kayak angler to do so. Part of this game is getting that fish picture which has a lot of moving parts, especially the fish. We want to ensure all new anglers are comfortable with the process and know the rules before investing into the competition.
