MacArts Hogmanay Event with Deacon Blues and Simple Minded

Come along and join us for our Hogmanay party this year at MacArts. Sing and Dance to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome in the New Year with us. Live music provided by Deacon Blues and Simple Minded up to and beyond midnight.

What’s your favourite Simple Minds song? Everybody has one! The chances are that “Simple Minded” already have it in their “ready to play” catalogue. They have played at some of the largest UK festivals including “Rewind” and have a huge following wherever they play. Their sets are tailored so that everyone gets an unforgettable experience. They are THE go-to Simple Minds tribute act.

Deacon Blues is the only Deacon Blue tribute band hailing from Scotland. They are immersed in the iconic songs and the emotions behind them, and carry this into their performance. They have played all over the UK to fantastic acclaim, whipping festival audiences into a frenzy, singing along with every word, with their authentic reproduction of the greatest hits, such as Chocolate Girl, Fergus Sings the Blues, Real Gone Kid, Dignity and many more....

This event is a standing event.

We will have a bar licence until 00:30.

The event is strictly for ages 18 and over.

Tickets need to be purchased in advance and will not be available on the door.
