Get ready for a hauntingly fun aerial dance experience! In this 10-week series, you’ll create your very own Halloween-themed performance piece—whether spooky, mysterious, playful, or dramatic—and perform it live at ON St. Elmo for a real audience, mixed with friends and family.
You’ll spend 8 weeks preparing your routine and 2 additional weeks for rehearsal in the performance space, followed by the showcase on Saturday, 10/25.
What to expect:
🧡Choose your apparatus: hammock or lyra
🧡Build your own choreography with guidance and support from your instructor
🧡Learn shapes and transitions
🧡Connect sequences with fluidity
🧡Explore creative ways to enter and exit the apparatus
🧡Develop movement on the ground between aerial segments
🧡Learn how to work with music to tell your story
🧡Gain performance confidence in a real show setting
