Let's go birding together at Depot Park

Let's go birding together!
Alachua Audubon is proud to offer our second annual beginner and family-friendly guided birding walk in celebration of Pride Month.

Join trip leader Maggie Paxson at the sidewalk roundabout of the Cade Museum (between the parking and the lake) at 5:30pm on Saturday, June 14.

We'll take a casual stroll through the Depot Park around the lake looking for birds, alligators, and other wildlife while talking about the history of Depot Park and how it contributes to downtown storm water management.
We'll conclude the walk around 7:30 with an optional BYO social at Boxcar and Goldie's.
While this is a walk celebrating LGBTQ+ pride, affirming individuals of all identities are welcome.

Please wear sunscreen and bring water, loaner binoculars will be available.

To bring: binoculars, closed-toe comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots, walking stick if needed, lots of water, and sun protection.

Birders of all ability levels and non-members are always welcome.
