Sobre os artistas:
Mbye Ebrima é griot e mestre da kora, nascido numa família djéli da Gâmbia. Vive em Portugal, já atuou em palcos de todo o mundo e criou festivais como o Kora Festival e o Mother Land Festival. Sua música une tradição mandinga com influências como flamenco, jazz, fado e reggae.
Demba Djabaté é músico, griot e multi-instrumentista da Guiné-Bissau, especialista em djembé, balafon, ngoni, entre outros. Defensor da tradição mandinga, Demba promove o encontro entre a música ancestral e os sons contemporâneos do mundo.

About the Artists:
Mbye Ebrima comes from a family of griots and is a virtuoso of the kora and oral storytelling. Based in Portugal, he has performed across Europe and Africa, blending traditional Mandinka sounds with a range of global genres. He is the founder of several cultural festivals, including the Kora Festival and Mother Land Festival.
Demba Djabaté is a griot and multi-instrumentalist from Guinea-Bissau, mastering instruments like djembe, balafon, ngoni, and more. His work honors and revives Mandinka musical heritage while creating bridges with contemporary world music.
