Essence & Danny perform Johnny & June

Join us for a FREE, family-friendly Luther Locals Live concert by Essence & Danny Perform Johnny & June on Tuesday, July 8. Like their predecessors Johnny Cash and June Carter, Danny Evans and Essence Goldman of Johnny & June Forever share an undeniable chemistry and musicality on stage, performing vocal harmonies reminiscent of the iconic Carter-Cash duo. In addition to their original music, they pay tribute to their heroes with a reverent and spirited Johnny & June revue. Danny Evans is widely recognized as a premier guitarist, an unparalleled singer/songwriter and producer. Essence recently received acclaim for her work with Bernie and the Believers through NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series and BBC and has released six albums.


#LutherLocalsLive2025 is 9 local bands performing 9 free live concerts, plus, local food, drinks, dancing, and family fun! Every Tuesday in June & July, starting at 5:30 pm in the shade of the outdoor Pavilion at LBC!
