Students in middle and high school who have an interest in learning about careers in the building industry, are invited to join us for the Introduction to Carpentry camp. This camp explores the basics of carpentry and applies the use of workshop tools and equipment with instruction by industry professionals. Participants will have an opportunity to grow more confident about tackling projects in the FieldWerx workshop.
This camp is held at the HSU Innovation Institute South at 709 Anchors St., Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Students must wear closed toe shoes and short sleeve shirts for their safety in the woodshop. Long hair must be pulled back.
Students may bring a snack and drink with their name it each day.
