Welcome to the Comic Cover Pop-Up Workshop sponsored by Main Street Geek! Join us at the Blue Ridge Arts Council for a fun and creative event where you can learn how to design your very own comic book cover. During this workshop, students will work through the process of character creation, logo design, and page composition. Basic materials will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own favored drawing and coloring tools. The workshop will last approximately 1 hour.
After the workshop, stick around to check out Beyond Superheroes: The Art of Comics and Animation, an amazing art exhibit featuring dozens of original comic book art pieces. And don't forget to go next door to Main Street Geek for more comic book inspiration!
This in-person workshop is perfect for comic book enthusiasts ages 8 and up. Space is limited and pre-registration is required, but the workshop is free. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to unleash your inner artist!
