EN workshop om fantasifulde territorier med David Sebastian Lopez Restrepo
Denne workshop udforsker kunstens rolle i temaer som migration, territorium og lighed. Gennem visuelle øvelser inspireret af migrationsprocesser - såsom pas og nationale identiteter - vil vi engagere os i fantasifuld tænkning og utopiske koncepter.
Vi vil arbejde med skriftlige instruktioner (scores), som opfordrer til at udforske vores opfattelser af rum og blande kartografi og topologi for at opnå en kvalitativ forståelse af territorium. Til sidst vil vi skabe zines, der udtrykker vores personlige vision om utopiske måder at leve sammen på.
David Sebastian Lopez Restrepo er en colombiansk performancekunstner, bosat i Danmark siden 2017. Hans arbejde, som er blevet præsenteret i Latinamerika og Europa, har været udstillet på bl.a. Statens Museum for Kunst i Danmark. Hans kunst udforsker sociale udfordringer for migranter og blander humor og antropologi for at engagere publikum. Ved hjælp af co-creative metoder leverer han virkningsfulde budskaber gennem performance. Som direktør for Performance Køkkenet i København organiserer han performancekunstfestivalen Body Landscapes og samarbejder med grupper som Live Art Denmark, Noisy Beehive og Tårnby Park Studio.

Imaginary Cartographies - a workshop on imaginative territories with David Sebastian Lopez Restrepo
This workshop explores the role of art in themes like migration, territory, and equality. Through visual exercises inspired by migration processes—such as passports and national identities, attendees will engage in imaginative thinking and utopian concepts.
We will work with artistic actions presented as written instructions (scores), encouraging us to explore subjective perceptions of space, blending cartography and topology for a qualitative understanding of territory.
In the end we will create zines, expressing our personal vision of utopian ways of living together.
David Sebastian Lopez Restrepo is a Colombian performance artist based in Denmark since 2017. His work, presented across Latin America and Europe, has been featured in Denmark’s National Art Gallery. His art explores migrant social challenges, blending humor and anthropology to engage audiences. Using co-creative methods, he delivers impactful messages through performance. As the director of Performance Køkkenet in Copenhagen, he organizes the Performance Art Festival Body Landscapes and collaborates with groups like Live Art Denmark, Noisy Beehive, and Tårnby Park Studio.
