FOCUS - Workshop & Collective Performance by Ignacio Córdoba.
Join us for the Workshop FOCUS by the Spanish musician Ignacio Cordoba and perform with him at our Performance Art festival SIN OBJETO / INTET OBJEKT 2025.
This is a workshop designed for artists and musicians of all ranges and styles with and without formal education, amateurs & professionals. Improvisers and/or composers, etc. The workshop is structured around Ignacio Córdoba's composition titled FOCUS, which is made to rethink music from a magical, inspiring and liberating space. In it sound becomes a glue that unites the instructions of a game in which freedom is not a value but a malleable and magnetic element. The form of FOCUS is the result of the internal politics of the participants. The first part of the workshop takes about two hours in which the composition will be rehearsed, performed and analysed by the students with Ignacio. In the evening the students will performed it in a concert, opening for Ignacio’s solo performance.
