Theresa Malenfant and Scott Medford

ECMA winner Theresa Malenfant and renowned guitarist Scott Medford have become one of the most popular blues duo acts in the Atlantic Provinces. They have been performing together in a band for years, but decided to work as a duo seven years ago. In that short time they managed to win second place in an International Blues Challenge (IBC) held in Memphis Tennessee.

Theresa and Scott have an intuitive way of working with each other, and the mutual respect and admiration for the other’s abilities is evident from their stage performance.

Theresa Malenfant has earned the nickname “Queen Bee of the Blues”. When you hear the first note you’ll know why. And she personally selected Scott Medford to be her guitarist. That speaks volumes about his level of playing.
