Step into the world of animal sheltering with Pawsitive Pathways, a monthly leadership and volunteer program designed for teens ages 13–15. Each 4-hour session (8:30am-12:30pm) combines hands-on service, humane education, and youth mentorship—empowering teens to make a difference.
What to Expect:
Learn About Shelter Life: Explore animal welfare topics and the daily work of helping pets in need.
Serve with Purpose: Complete safe, supervised tasks like prepping enrichment, cleaning supplies, or creating adoption materials.
Lead Younger Youth: Act as Education Ambassadors by assisting with our Animal Allies program for kids ages 6–12.
Grow Your Skills: Build confidence, leadership, and communication while earning volunteer hours.
Whether you're passionate about animals or exploring future careers, Pawsitive Pathways is your chance to step up, give back, and lead with compassion.
September Theme: Breeds & spay/neuter awareness – Learn about different dog breeds and stigmas, why spay/neuter programs matter, and create enrichment toys to keep shelter pets engaged and happy.
