'Death by Chocolate' M**der Mystery Candle Making Workshop

Join us for our 'Death by Chocolate' M**der Mystery Candle Making Workshop! You'll make your own chocolate/candy themed candle while working with other guests to solve the heinous M**der of chocolate tycoon Billy Bonka. Please read this description in its entirety so you know what to expect! Due to mature material in the mystery, this event is for ages 16 and up. All minors participating must also have an adult participating (both ticketed).

Recommended dress code: Fancy-ish. Your character will be another tycoon/millionaire. Dress however you feel that type of person would dress. The more in-character you are, the more immersive your experience will feel.

Mocktails: We will have a make-you-own Mocktail station where you'll find three recipes on how to make a themed mocktail for your character. (This is an alcohol-free event)

Candles: You'll recieve guided instruction throughout the event on how to make your 100% coconut-soy wax candle. You'll receive a premium frosted brown 10oz sonoma jar with a premium cork top. You'll have the opportunity to decorate your jar and dye your wax from themed colors. We will have up to 7 themed fragrances to choose from for your candle.

M**der Mystery: Please note that this is an fully interactive event where participation and speaking are required. The event takes between 2-3 hours, please be sure to allow for the entire allotted time. You will be playing a character and character assignments are completely random. You will receive a character booklet with information and a full script (this is a scripted event that also allows for lots of improv moments by characters). At the end, after you've received all of the information from the inspector, the group will vote on who they think the M**der was. If the group picks correctly, you'll win and get a "We Caught Em!" certificate! But if you guess wrong, the murderer gets away and they will recieve a "I Got Away With It!" certificate.

Arrival: You MUST arrive on-time or early for this event. You will go to our store (Pearlescent Candle Co) within the mall, located next to Cinnabon, where you will be escorted to the event area.

Additional information: Since we are dealing with hot wax, a waiver must be signed upon arrival. All minors must have a ticketed participating adult with them (parents are not allowed to simply watch, you all must be ticketed and participating) and the adult must sign a waiver for the minor. Once these events sell out, they are sold out. Each event can have a max of 8 attendees.
