FCC WELCOMES GUITARIST DIEGO RETANA

You're Invited to a Special Night of Music!

Join us for a memorable concert featuring two of Diego's dynamic musical groups: The Pilgrims of Deep Run, a Baltimore-based ensemble bringing the rich sounds of Celtic music to life, and timesink, a cutting-edge jazz fusion band from NYC, blending genres and pushing boundaries.

ABOUT DIEGO RETANA

Diego Retana, an FCC graduate, is a freelance guitarist, and music educator based in New York City. Diego has more than 23 years of experience performing music across all styles and genres, and has spent the past 15 years sharing his expertise as a dedicated teacher. With his musical curiosity, Diego has performed and recorded with a wide range of artists and ensembles—including singer-songwriters, pop, rock, funk, soul, R&B, jazz, and fusion bands (both original and cover acts), as well as pit orchestras, guitar ensembles, wedding bands, Celtic traditional groups, and worship teams. Currently teaching private lessons, he is also coaching both a Middle School Rock Band and a High School jazz/funk fusion band at The Dwight School. He continues to perform in New York City as a freelance musician and with various groups, including his original jazz-fusion band, timesink. He also stays active in the DMV area, performing with his Baltimore-based Celtic folk band, The Pilgrims of Deep Run.
