August meeting / tour at Wannigan Park in Frazee

We will be meeting in person at Wannigan Regional Park in Frazee. The address is 200 N. River Drive, Frazee MN 56544 (map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vqY5j2PDgmeQiuFWA). Plan to meet at the covered bridge.

Topic: Come see the latest developments at the new Wannigan Regional Park, including the North Country Trail section that our chapter co-sponsored! Take a short hike to see the famous Dambo troll, or, start a longer hike: the trail stretches all the way from North Dakota to Vermont. This is a fantastic time to learn about our Ikes chapter and the exciting things we are working on and opportunities to participate. Hear what is new at the park from chapter member Polly Andersen, park and regional advocate.

We will have family-friendly Ketter’s hot dogs, veggies and dip. Potluck and bring whatever else your family wants to eat, plus your own beverage, reusable plate & silverware. Let’s make this a zero waste event!
