Poetry Reading & Open Mic Night at Yonder

Join us for a soulful evening of poetry, community, and creative expression under the oak trees at Yonder!
We’re honored to welcome back two exceptional poets, Gianna Russo and Jeff Karon, for a special reading from their latest books. Each will share selected works, speak briefly about their writing, and stick around for a book signing after the reading.
✨ About the Poets:
Gianna Russo is the inaugural Wordsmith of The City of Tampa and an award-winning author of several poetry collections, including All I See is Your Glinting and Moonflower.
Jeff Karon is a former English professor and consultant, and the author of If Only the Cherry Blossoms Had Not Fallen. His writing blends reflection, insight, and poetic grace.
🎤 After the featured readings, we’ll open up the mic to the community — you’re invited to share a poem, story, or song. Whether you’re a seasoned writer, first-time reader, or simply want to listen and support, this is a welcoming space for all voices.
🪑 Bring a blanket or a chair and settle in for a relaxed, meaningful night in the company of fellow creatives.
