Our Pilates 101 Series is a progressive, educational experience designed to teach you the history, principles, and foundational movements of Pilates, while gradually introducing all of the Pilates apparatus used at Abel Wellness.
🌀 How the series unfolds:
Weeks 1–2 | Mat Pilates Foundations
• Pilates history & core principles
• Breath, alignment, and foundational mat exercises
• Building body awareness, strength, and control
Weeks 3–4 | Translating Mat to Apparatus
• Continue foundational work
• Experience how mat exercises translate to the Reformer, Fuse Ladder, and Pilates Chair
• Begin learning the fundamentals of all Pilates equipment in a supportive, intentional way
