“The program moves through various stage spaces, uniting world premieres of new ensemble works, melting oil paintings, light installations, and large-scale sculptures into a multisensory experience. A pillow landscape invites visitors to lie down and dream. In Dunkle Mitte (world premiere), Patrick Schäfer addresses the themes of loss and transience, while in Exvot – melt me heart (world premiere), Sara Cubarsi explores the end of desire. Works by Anna S. Þorvaldsdóttir and Michael Gordon lead us from darkness back into the light.”
