Lughnasadh Stories Around the Fire, Under the Stars. Sacred Storytelling with Storyteller, Tracy Chipman. We are so excited to have Tracy back at Kinstone. If you have never heard her spin a yarn, you are missing out on a real treat - especially when around the fire. Join us!
Gather together around the fire, on the threshold of Lughnasadh/Lammas with the land in celebration for the upcoming harvest. Set aside this time and join with us to hear sacred stories tuned to this season.
Lughnasadh, also known as Lammas or Lughnasa, is a an ancient Celtic seasonal festival that marks the midpoint between Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox. It heralds the beginning of the harvest season. Typically celebrated on August 1st, it is a time to honor the first fruits of the harvest, typically grain, symbolizing the dwindling of summer and the slow transition into autumn.
